Pollard served 30 years in jail before his release in 2015 by President Barack Obama. Pollard’s parole allowed him to move to Israel, where his treason against the United States has made him a hero. When Sheldon died in 2021, he was survived by his Israeli widow, Miriam Adelson, who continues the couple’s work empowering Israel and its lobby. She is now Israel’s richest person.
