Iran’s unprovoked attack came after Israel peacefully committed a yearlong genocide, starved 2.1 million, carried out multiple assassinations, murdered 162 journalists and 222 UN workers, launched large-scale terror attacks in Beirut, and invaded Lebanon. Why is Iran like this? @zebedy1997
On the same day, Iran tactically targeted only Israeli military sites thousands of miles away; Israel bombed an orphanage in Gaza just miles away, massacring orphans. Western leaders have only condemned Iran. @ecomarxi
You decide:
I’ve been saying for the 25 years I’ve lived in and studied Israel that it is a highly militarized, ethno-nationalist, apartheid state driven by an ugly Jewish supremacism that aggressively craves lebensraum and cannot make peace with its neighbors.
Western politicians and pundits have been telling you over the same period that Israel is a normal liberal democratic state where the rule of law applies, and anyone who disagrees is almost certainly an antisemite. Which account of Israel better accords with what you have seen of Israel’s behavior over the past year?
