Michael Jackson – Palestine, Don’t Cry (Unreleased Poem Brought to Life “Fanmade with AI”)
By Stéphane Desmoulin: Inspired by Michael Jackson’s deep sensitivity to humanitarian issues and his many poems, particularly one written in 1993 titled “Palestine, Don’t Cry,” I wanted to pay tribute to his message of peace through this creation. The words resonated strongly back then, but they hold even more significance in light of today’s tragic events.
Michael Jackson wrote this poem in 1993 as the conflict between Israel and Palestine intensified. It surfaced in 2010 during an auction held by Julien’s Auctions. Initially intended to be part of the HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I album, it was never officially released. Michael, a true visionary and committed artist, cared deeply about the well-being of humanity. This work is not intended to claim the existence of a leaked, unreleased song but rather to explore what the poem might have become if it had been set to music. Using artificial intelligence, I’ve attempted to bring this text to life while staying true to the spirit and soul of Michael. However, it’s important to note that this version is entirely fictional and unofficial.
Lyrics:
[Verse 1]
See the plains
Of the days of old
Just a century ago
When stories of peace were told
Of how Galilee ran through
The Jordan River
[Pre-Chorus]
What remains are cold
Tales of war
Of the death and dying
Bomb shells are flying
Bodies multiplying
See the children crying
What are they fighting for?
[Chorus]
I will pray for you
Oh, Palestine
Oh, Palestine
I will carry you, oh
Palestine, Palestine
[Verse 2]
Palestine
Come deep in
My heart
I’ll always love you
[Pre-Chorus]
Palestine, don’t cry
I will pray for you
Oh, Palestine. Oh, Palestine
Oh, Palestine
God has a place for you
Oh, Palestine
And, I believe in you, oh
Palestine, I will die for you
[Chorus]
I will pray for you
Oh, Palestine
Oh, Palestine
I will carry you, oh
Palestine, Palestine
There’s no way on earth this would’ve been allowed to continue for just one day, let alone a whole year, if these children were Israeli, American or European.

But Palestinians are not deserving of life, let alone freedom.

Lyrics
All I want to say is that they don’t really care about us
Don’t worry what people say, we know the truth
All I want to say is that they don’t really care about us
Enough is enough of this garbage
All I want to say is that they don’t really care about us
Skinhead, deadhead
Everybody gone bad
Situation aggravation
Everybody, allegation
In the suite on the news
Everybody, dog food
Bang-bang, shock dead
Everybody’s gone mad
All I wanna say is that they don’t really care about us
All I wanna say is that they don’t really care about us
Beat me, hate me
You can never break me
Will me, thrill me
You can never kill me
Jew me, sue me
Everybody, do me
Kick me, kike me
Don’t you black or white me
All I wanna say is that they don’t really care about us
All I wanna say is that they don’t really care about us
Tell me what has become of my life
I have a wife and two children who love me
I’m a victim of police brutality, now (Mhhm)
I’m tired of bein’ the victim of hate
Your rapin’ me of my pride
Oh, for God’s sake
I look to heaven to fulfill its prophecy
Set me free
Skinhead, deadhead
Everybody, gone bad
Trepidation speculation
Everybody, allegation
In the suite on the news
Everybody, dog food
Black man, black mail
Throw the brother in jail
All I wanna say is that they don’t really care about us
All I wanna say is that they don’t really care about us
Tell me what has become of my rights
Am I invisible ’cause you ignore me?
Your proclamation promised me free liberty, now
I’m tired of bein’ the victim of shame
They’re throwin’ me in a class with a bad name
I can’t believe this is the land from which I came
You know I really do hate to say it
The government don’t wanna see
But it Roosevelt was livin’, he wouldn’t let this be, no, no
Skinhead, deadhead
Everybody, gone bad
Situation, speculation
Everybody, litigation
Beat me, bash me
You can never trash me
Hit me, kick me
You can never get me
All I wanna say is that they don’t really care about us
All I wanna say is that they don’t really care about us
Some things in life they just don’t wanna see (Ah)
But if Martin Luther was livin’
He wouldn’t let this be, no, no
Skinhead, deadhead (Yeah, yeah)
Everybody’s gone bad
Situation, segregation (Woo-hoo)
Everybody, allegation
In the suite on the news
Everybody dog food (Woo-ho)
Kick me, kike me
Don’t you wrong or right me
All I wanna say is that they don’t really care about us
All I wanna say is that they don’t really care about us
All I wanna say is that they don’t really care about us
All I wanna say is that they don’t really care about us
All I wanna say is that they don’t really care about us
All I wanna say is that they don’t really care about us
